INTENTIONAL COVER-UP OF THE DANGEROUS EXPERIMENT BY ECOHEALTH IN THE WUHAN LAB MAY BE THE CAUSE OF PANDEMIC

JAMES COMER EXPRESSES NON-CONSENSUS AND BELIEVES TO TERMINATE THE PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN ECOHEALTH AND WUHAN LAB

GRANT PORTION DIVERTED TO THE WUHAN INSTITUTE OF VIROLOGY BY ECO HEALTH ALLIANCE (US-BASED ORG) IN 2014

The United States National Institutes of Health ends sub-awarding of grants to Wuhan Lab, China.

The world may not remember all affairs, but the Wuhan Lab in China is well stored in the memory of everyone for it’s the birthplace of the fatal coronavirus.

Every biotechnology research under ‘gain of function,’ need funds to continue its activities, and the Wuhan Lab too fell in the grant category. The American organization Eco Alliance was granted $3.7 million to conduct the study on bats related to coronavirus, sub-granted some portion of the grant to Wuhan Lab, China, and the aftermath is needless to mention.

After the perils of the pandemic, the United States National Institutes of Health now ends the sub-funding system to Wuhan Lab, China.

Grant Portion Diverted to Wuhan Institute of Virology by Eco Health Alliance (US-based Org)

The grant to Wuhan Lab was suspended in 2020 after the renewal in 2019 due to the failure in financial compliance.

The NIH Deputy Director, Dr. Michael Lauer’s letter dated August 19 revealed fixing all the problems wasn’t possible.

The NIH then terminated the sub-awarding arrangement to Wuhan Lab by intimating the EcoHealth Alliance owing to the non-compliance with regards to the financial agreement – as communicated by Dr. Michael Lauer to the top Republican on the House Oversight Committee Rep. James Comer.

ADDITIONAL CONDITION IMPOSITION CAN NOT COMPENSATE FOR WUHAN’S NON-COMPLIANCY

The grant released by the United States Government attaches mandates in-time reporting and prompt experiment monitoring, which the Eco-Health Alliance failed to conduct in the research on bat-related coronavirus carried out by the Wuhan Institute of Virology, China.

The failure of adhering to the norms stipulated by the U.S. Government’s grants (R01AI110964 & others) to Eco-Health was announced by NIH in October 2001.

To fill in & rectify the non-compliances, a report was submitted on Feb-4th but wasn’t sufficient, confirmed Dr. Michael Lauer.

In January and at the 2021 year end, NIH asked for lab documents, including the originals of the ongoing research at the Wuhan Lab, but never received them. The Executives of EcoHealth confirmed that despite their consistent request for research updates, Wuhan Lab didn’t respond, and later the sub-awarding to Wuhan Lab was terminated due to material insufficiency.

The EcoHealth Alliance’s failure to institute the norms of the grant on its sub-grantee, Wuhan Lab, is the main point of grant termination, said Dr. Lauer.

Further, the NIH communicated that the additional imposition of conditions can't be compensated for Wuhan Lab’s refusal of document records, and the partial termination of the award is the most befitting action.

FUNDING-ON ECOHEALTH

The National Institute of Health is not terminating any of the awards in question, R01AI110964, 1U01AI151797-01, and 1U01AI153420-01 for the time being.

Dr. Lauer went ahead with a transformed tone explaining the morals of biotechnology research and grants substantiating that, the non-compliant grantees are tracked on the compliance track rather than terminating association with them.

EcoHealth did successfully adhere to the NIH corrective plans for the two other awards by the NIH (National Institute of Health) but will be under strict obligation restricting funds to Wuhan Lab under the grant.

However, the EcoHealth Alliance has the liberty to re-negotiate the grant objectives with the NIAID (National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Diseases) which is led by Dr. Anthony Fauci.

The revised grant shall move if it meets the agreement, else will be terminated.

A time frame of 30 days was allotted to EcoHealth to submit the outline plan as to how it shall fulfill the purpose of the grant with Wuhan Lab's involvement.

Some think of ending the award completely.

James Comer expresses non-consensus and believes to terminate the partnership between Ecohealth and Wuhan lab.

He further states that it’s unacceptable to fund grants utilizing taxpayer money, and NIH shouldn’t allow grants on account that there was a violation of the grant by EcoHealth.

James Comer pointed out that the intentional cover-up by EcoHealth on the fatal experiments carried out in the Wuhan lab may be the cause of the pandemic and supports not releasing any grants to EcoHealth.

Opinion – Purity Drips a Google News Publication

Funding researches on dangerous viruses call for an extra layer of precautionary protocol to follow as the final objective is the welfare of humankind but this wasn’t moral in the case of EcoHealth Alliance which resulted in a pandemic. Our opinion is no different from that of Rep. James Comer, and firmly wish to proceed henceforth as per Comer’s directives on grants.
